Photographer, Art Teacher, Artist, Traveler

Nancy Wilkinson is a photographer and art teacher.  Her photography has been seen at the Tucson International Airport and other local galleries.  She has taught art in Arizona for 7 years.  However, most of her teaching career was in Washington State, where she received her Masters degree in Arts Education from Seattle Pacific University.  Now, however, she has totally embraced the sunshine and beauty of the desert.

She has illustrated two children’s books, “Tucson Charlie Lost in the Desert” and “Tucson Charlie Lost in the Zoo.”  Both can be found on Amazon

Nancy also likes to travel, a lot.  She has visited over 25 countries.  She was awarded two Fulbrights to India and South Africa.  Nancy’s motto for life is “Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” She hopes her art and photography reflect that.

Nancy is a Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalist. She leads children on hikes and table talks about nature once a week. Her puppet shows about desert critters can be seen in the Visitor’s Center as well.
